New vacuum cleaner robot from Samsung


Vacuum cleaner robots are probably the most common domestic robots that are in use today. Samsung Electronics just made a new addition to these robots, by introducing Tango Vacuum Cleaner Robot. The robot is able to clean carpets, hardwood floors and beds autonomously.

The robot has a 30 frame per second camera for navigation and remembering where it has been as well. There are totally 13 sensors, to enable robot to avoid obstacles and detect dust from as close as 2 cm. The robot will go on sale for about $500 however the company did not provide any information yet about the release date. To see original story, visit here.
