Robotic knee that teaches patients to walk


The robotic knee developed by a company called Tibion in Mountain View CA, helps patients with walking difficulty to regain their normal walking ability by providing constant assistance and resistance as necessary and also supplying feedback data to the brain. The device is lightweight enough for home use and primarily developed for patients with who are dealing with a neurosurgery, stroke or MS.
