The new robot called Mint Robot #3, Music Tank, is a robotic music player that can follow you around or be remote controlled. The robot detects the objects in its front by ultrasonic sensors and can distinguish humans with its thermal sensors. With the endless track system like those used in war tanks, the robot can overcome most of the obstacles if they can not be avoided. The robot can be remote controlled by WiFi, Bluetooth or PC.

When first purchased, the robot gets a mapping of the house interior by roaming around and at the same time detecs the location of the wireless router. After that this map is used for robot’s navigation. With the remote control device, the user can also point the location where the robot should go.
