Equipped with 3D laser scanners and long range planning algorithms the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) is able to detect objects as far as 150m away.The vehicle can make its own map of the environment and detect small objects such as thin electrical wires. It looks like, combined with the recent artificial intelligence system developed by Stanford university, just about two months ago, soon we will see a lot of these unmanned aerial vehicles performing a lot of load carrying, transportation and even in the defense sector.
