Japan Chiba Institute of Technology has been developing a wheelchair which has legs. This legs are not exactly the same as a human leg but they can climb stairs like a human. This development will be a big improvement for disabled people in their life.

The most amazing thing is this robotic wheelchair has some tips and tricks. It can move forward or back quickly and smoothly. It is a big advantage actually because especially in crowded places in the narrow ways to reach somewhere can be impossible, especially for disabled people. By this adjustment they can reach wherever they want as if they were walking.

Now, there is only the prototype of this wheelchair. However developers believe that this development will meet the end-users soon.
