DARPA’s Latest Robot
The robot developed by DARPA to manipulate objects reached another milestone. The goal of the robot is to function better than human operated robots when manipulating objects. Latest Humanoid Robot by Hitachi
The latest humanoid robot developed by Hitachi is able to recognize and locate objects in a room. It has a huge database of objects which it downloads from the internet and then compares the objects it sees with this database. The robot will not be commercialized anytime soon however.
