DroneQ Robotics Expands Offshore with R/V Mintis
DroneQ Robotics and Mark Offshore have formed a strategic partnership centered on the DP1 ROV Support & Survey vessel, R/V Mintis. DroneQ gains exclusive deployment rights for its own, Intertek, and third-party projects, positioning the vessel as a fully integrated platform combining vessel operations, ROV systems, and aerial drone services.

The Mintis is equipped with advanced subsea technology, including the X-SV (OCROV Class I) system rated to 350 meters and the Argus Rover (OCROV Class II) capable of operating at depths up to 1000 meters with 3D imaging and intervention capabilities. It also features maritime inspection drones designed for offshore wind and oil & gas inspections at sea.
Managed by Mark Offshore for Klaipėda University, the vessel supports operations in both shallow and deep waters, covering subsea inspection, survey work, salvage support, and environmental research.
The partnership targets offshore wind, oil & gas, dredging, port, and salvage markets, offering integrated unmanned robotics services to improve efficiency, data quality, and operational flexibility.
