We have seen robots replacing or fighting against humans on the battlefield, only in the movies so far. However, the technology has come so far, that it is now openly pronounced by the military. DOD officials have stated that the number of soldiers will shrink from 540,000 to 450,000 by 2020, where the difference will be compensated by robots.
