Nearly 300,000 people registered drones in the US so far -

Since the drone registration requirement started in the US last month, nearly 300000 drone owners registered their drone as reported on US Department of Transportation website. The deadline for registration is february 19. The users can do this online from FAA website here. In order to register, the drone must weigh at least 250 grams or 0.55 pounds.
